Ricca Autosport - Hyundai N Factory Effort

Category: Professional Wheel to Wheel Road Racing

Series: TC America

Ricca Autosport opened the 2025 season with a commanding presence at Sonoma Raceway from March 28–30. Jeff Ricca, driving the No. 78 Hyundai Elantra N1 TC Evo, set the tone by securing both pole position and victory in Race 1. He followed it up with another dominant performance in Race 2, once again taking first place. Teammate CJ Sepulveda joined Ricca on the podium, finishing second and completing a flawless 1‑2 sweep for the team. Their momentum carried into the next round at Circuit of The Americas (April 24–27), where rising talent Gyumin Kim showcased his speed and control by securing pole position and winning both races—an impressive clean sweep in just his second outing with the team. At Sebring, though only a practice weekend, the team demonstrated promising pace as Sepulveda clocked a top‑five time during Practice 2, offering a glimpse of the team’s depth and continued competitiveness.

As the season progresses, Ricca Autosport stands out as a frontrunner in the SRO TC America championship. Jeff Ricca, the 2024 champion, currently leads the TC class standings with an impressive tally: two wins, four podiums, a fastest lap, and 86 points from four races. Meanwhile, Gyumin Kim’s back-to-back wins at COTA likely place him within the top 5 to 10 in the standings. Backed by Hyundai USA as the official partner and competing under the Hyundai N Trophy Cup program, Ricca Autosport has developed a well-rounded driver lineup. Alongside Ricca’s consistent excellence, Kim and Sepulveda have added strength and strategic flexibility. With Ricca leading the title charge and Kim proving to be a formidable contender, the team is in prime position to challenge for both individual and team championships heading into the heart of the 2025 season.
